Patient Care

Mental wellbeing is a broad term, and it can be hard to define when it is having a negative impact upon the quality of your life. Therefore, you may well find it a difficult and daunting experience to accept when you need to seek treatment for a mental health disorder.

The dedicated psychiatrists at Denmar Specialist Psychiatric Hospital are committed to providing the highest quality of care to help individuals overcome a wide range of mental illnesses.

Psychiatric problems can be successfully treated, and our psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists and nursing team are able to provide you with advice, support and therapeutic techniques designed to suit your individual needs.

The specific needs of each patient are regarded as a priority. Treatment is adapted to suit these individual needs and is monitored by a multi-disciplinary team consisting of, inter alia, psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurses and occupational therapists.

Specific treatment as prescribed by the psychiatrist can include medication, psychotherapy, compulsory group therapy and ECT (Electro Convulsive Therapy). Patients are also encouraged to participate in the informal programmes such as relaxation therapy and sport activities.

Our Theraputic Program Includes

Group & Occupational Therapy
